Hey, I’m Zaida!

Virtual Assistant with Content Writing Expertise

Hi there, I’m Zaida! I was born and raised in Hawai`i on O`ahu and now live on the west coast in Oregon. I partner with entrepreneurs, small businesses, and creatives to help manage their day-to-day workload.

Having worked in a fast-paced startup environment, organizing training and mentorship sessions, I now leverage my time management and project coordination skills to support clients in tackling their to-do lists and project management.

Years of color coding, diligent organizing, and a minor obsession with checklists have finally come in handy! 😎

My love for writing and experience as a content writer also allows me to help my partners with bespoke specialty services like blog writing, content repurposing, and social media content creation.

Beyond VA support and content writing, I consume an unhealthy amount of TV shows and movies, cater to my cat Grizabella, and practice my new hobby—tap dancing!

👌🏽 YES to: Reading, thunderstorms, driving with the windows down, and Schitt’s Creek.

👎🏽 NO THANKS to: Crocs, littering, and pineapple on pizza (I’m from Hawai`i and have strong feelings about it–do not get me started on this!).

💃🏽 GET UP AND DANCE song: “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan.

So, who is Zaida?

  • After missing out on quality reading time while in high school and college, I came back to reading with a vengeance! You can find me on Goodreads and Bookstagram to see what I’m reading and for bookish goodness!

  • My family has 5 cats, but I’m Grizabella’s person. And yes, she is named after a character from Cats the Musical. Baby-faced and the best lap cat, she loves playing with crumpled balls of paper and always hogs the blanket.

  • Kanaka maoli are the indigenous people of the Hawaiian Islands. I’m incredibly proud of my Native Hawaiian ancestry—born and raised in Pearl City on the island of O`ahu.

I’m honored to be a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus and to carry on the legacy as a Kamehameha Warrior. Thank you to Princess Pauahi…forever indebted to her.

  • Lover of planners, notebooks, and journals. My style is a mixture of functional and decorative. I like using color, stickers, and stamps!
